Just 10 minutes drive, North West of The Moat is the famous motor racing circuit of Brands Hatch. From its humble beginning as a grasstrack motorcycle circuit on farmland it soon grew, and by 1964 it had hosted the first of its 12 runnings of the British Grand Prix, although it no longer plays host to the GP it is still very much at the heart of British motor racing.

15mins drive south west of The Moat in Sevenoaks is the 43 Acre Knole Kark, this National Trust owned estate makes for a great day out. Did you know... The park was the location for the Beatles’ “Strawberry Fields Forever” video.

Leeds Castle is approximately 20mins south east of The Moat, near Maidstone, a castle has stood on the site since 1119, the structure that now stands was completed in 1823 but looks much older due to its Tudor styling, with many events and much to see it’s well worth a visit.

Located 20mins north east of The Moat Bluewater has to be Kent’s premier shopping centre... What better after some retail therapy than relaxing at The Moat!

Situated approximately 15mins drive north west of The Moat is the famous, Jack Nicklaus designed, London Golf Club. Why not make a day of it and come and see us on the way back!
